Amazon Vendor Services (AVS), in partnership with Retail Business Services (RBS), is a paid B2B service that helps key vendors partner with Amazon. As a Vendor Consultant, you will help shape and deliver strategies for managing key metric pillars for Amazon AVS vendors.

You will interface internally with leaders from RBS, Retail, and Vendor Services teams and will be responsible for specific aspects of the vendor’s business with Amazon. Your role involves engaging directly with multiple internal teams to optimize business for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.com. You will conceive, create, and analyze data to grow vendor traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue. Additionally, you will examine strategic and operational aspects of their business, conduct root cause analysis of issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Measure success by the performance of internal teams on input metrics and the impact of vendors on customer experience
* Partner with Retail (AVS) Team to manage vendor relationships, advocating for vendor needs at Amazon
* Build communication channels at all levels, set expectations, provide clear status updates, and manage growth plans for vendors
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to address key business opportunities and KPIs for vendors and Amazon
* Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve operational aspects and enhance customer experience
* Analyze issues deeply and develop data-driven recommendations and action plans to improve vendor experience
* Provide thought leadership on planning, roadmaps, and execution
* Establish long-term partnerships with key vendor partners
* Support the launch of new programs and features
* Conduct regular WBRs and MBRs with vendors to review performance and develop action plans
* Influence metrics by understanding data, creating forecasts, taking calculated risks, and reacting swiftly with new strategies
Basic Qualifications
* B2 Certification minimum (Italian)
* 2+ years of experience in vendor/account/catalog management, buying/sourcing/sales, product management, or supply chain
* 2+ years of experience interacting with customers/stakeholders
* 1+ years of program or project management experience
* Experience using data to influence business decisions
* Knowledge of advanced Excel (array and statistical formulas)
* Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Fast learner, able to handle ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of macros and data analytics
* Ability to drive process or procedure improvements
* Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, SIM-ticketing, project management tools, and scripting experience
