Within the Lob Avionic Equipment/AIRCRAFT & COCKPIT COMPUTERS PROGRAMS Area, we are looking for a Program Manager for our Pomezia office.

The person will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Management of medium complexity programs, both national and international.
  • Operating autonomously to ensure the achievement of project objectives, not only from an economic-financial point of view, but also ensuring compliance with contractual agreements with the Customer (external/internal).
  • Coordination and management of progress meetings, performance measurement and planning/organization of testing/delivery activities with the Customer.
  • Actively support "business winning" phases and ensure monitoring and progress of projects in "business execution" phases, interfacing with various stakeholders from other Corporate Functions and agreeing with the line manager on any corrective actions to ensure project success and Customer satisfaction.
  • Management of contractual compliance in accordance with Company procedures and national laws, with particular regard to aspects of: Legal, Security, Trade compliance, Health & Safety, Purchasing process and reporting.
  • Risk Management.
  • Participation in bid teams for the preparation of main commercial offers.
  • Coordination regarding the definition and collection of costs.
  • Reporting to management on the analysis of measured results.
  • Participation in the continuous improvement process (process improvement).
  • Participation in company training activities for project management processes.

Education:

Master's degree in Technical or Management field, preferably Engineering.

Required experience level:

Junior: 1-3 years of experience

Technical skills and knowledge:

  • Good basic preparation aimed at the correct management and understanding of technical and economic topics.
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles and processes.
  • Knowledge of project planning and progress control methodologies.
  • Knowledge of job order economic indicators.
  • Knowledge of compliance issues versus Security, Trade Compliance and Health & Safety.
  • Previous work experience in Project Management.
  • PMI certification is welcome (plus).

Other: The ideal candidate is available to carry out work mainly at the office and to undertake short/medium duration business trips, after adequate on-the-job training, in Italy and/or abroad.

How does the selection process work?

Following the collection of applications, the CVs most in line with the required requirements are evaluated and identified.
Selected candidates undergo an introductory interview with the Human Resources team, motivational and aptitude-based, followed by a technical in-depth interview with the Business.
At the end of the process, feedback is provided to the person, both in case of a positive or negative outcome.
