Our Ultra High Net Worth Multi-Generational Families team focuses on post-liquidity families and corporate executives with complex estate and income tax planning and compliance needs. Our team takes a holistic approach, analyzing income tax, estate, gift, generation-skipping, philanthropic, retirement, and trust aspects of planning and compliance. We collaborate with clients, attorneys, and other advisors to achieve their goals. Responsibilities: Advise ultra-high net worth clients on tax services including wealth transfer, charitable, retirement planning, and tax compliance. Lead engagement teams on individual, fiduciary, gift, generation skipping, and estate taxation, including planning and execution of client engagements. Anticipate client needs, collaborate with colleagues in specialty tax areas, and support growth through relationship building. Participate in client proposals and develop new client relationships. Build collaborative teams, develop, and reward team members, delivering an exceptional talent experience. Contribute to technical expertise and strategic planning through committee participation. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, centers of influence, and other RSM promoters through networking and thought leadership. Align with RSM’s core values, vision, and strategy, and promote a collaborative enterprise environment. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. CPA license, licensed J.D., or enrolled agent (with approval). At least 8 years of experience in public accounting with emphasis on private client taxation, especially ultra-high net worth individuals, including leadership in client engagements and growth. Proficiency in individual, fiduciary, investment partnership, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxation. Knowledge of multi-state taxation. Strong communication skills, with leadership ability and client management skills. Preferred Qualifications: LL.M. or Master’s in Taxation.
