This organization is characterized as a co‑located & process engineering team focused on developing and supporting the rest of the organization with subject‑matter experts (SMEs). Responsibilities
 * Facilitate continuous improvement on Handling and Transport processes across the manufacturing sites.
 * Analyze the current state and future state; be motivated to improve activities.
 * Create and maintain a plan for improvement.
 * Create the needed Engineering Change Notices (CNs).
 * Lead improvement tasks and projects.
 * Act as a case handler on an escalation process to resolve factory bottlenecks; urgent and critical to resolve fast.
 * Be part of building a culture of excellence, innovation, and responsibility.
 * Investigate and solve production issues using structured methods such as the 5‑Whys and Fishbone Diagrams.
 * Apply continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Lean.
Education
 * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
 * GB Lean certification.
Experience
 * About 6–8 years of experience in similar roles.
Worked with
 * Leading improvement tasks.
 * Analyzing Handling & Logistic processes.
 * Transport tool specification.
 * Process flow creation.
 * Optimization and standardization within manufacturing processes using the toolbox mentioned above.
Core Competences
 * Technical, analytical, and operational competencies tailored to Handling & Transport and continuous improvement.
 * Skills in process design and optimization related to Handling & Transport.
 * Willingness to spend time in the factory environment to understand and solve problems.
 * Data‑driven decision making using lean analytics tools.
 * Use of tools such as 5‑Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA.
 * Self‑motivated; result‑oriented; excellent organizational discipline.
 * Enjoy teamwork in a large organization and build an extensive network across cultures.
 * Customer‑oriented and understands the complete business value chain.
 * Committed to continuous learning.
