What are we looking for?
We're looking to grow our team with an experienced Back-End Developer specialising in Java and Spring Boot, to join one of our most exciting international projects based in Italy.
Mandatory requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in English (working language for the project)
- Based in or willing to relocate to Italy
- Proven experience in cloud architecture analysis and design
- Experience leading or coordinating technical teams and/or resources
- Availability for on-call support
Technical stack — advanced knowledge required:
- Java / Spring Boot
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Angular 16+
- AWS
- Docker & Terraform
- PostgreSQL & MongoDB
Responsibilities:
- Develop front-end and middle-tier features alongside the software engineering team.
- Improve existing functionality and build new features in line with current and future needs.
- Coordinate with the QA team for defect identification and resolution.
- Write and maintain technical specifications.
- Participate in the development, testing, and deployment of clean code in a DevOps environment.
- Perform other duties as required.
