Responsibilities of the role: Serves as the point of reference for all HR processes for employees and managers at the assigned logistics hub; Builds a strong business relationship with the client and the relevant area, transferring HR requests and solutions to and from the assigned site; Responsible for recruitment processes, performance evaluations, career planning, and salary reviews for the relevant personnel, in coordination with the central HR department in Italy; Manages the personnel at the assigned site (e.g., labor law, disciplinary actions, etc.); Contributes to defining wage levels for the site’s personnel, ensuring alignment with the budget and prior agreements with the client; Participates in union meetings and negotiations of union agreements, company collective agreements, settlement agreements, etc., including the drafting and revision of such documents; Liaises with external legal consultants and the internal legal department regarding labor disputes; Promotes measures aimed at improving productivity and reducing absenteeism at the assigned site; Supports organizational analysis and proposes solutions to align organizational structures with business strategy; Manages the budget and prepares reports on topics under their responsibility; Supports Operations, Managers, and Function Directors on labor law issues and the correct application of HR topics, based on the applicable National Collective Agreement (CCNL) and labor law regulations; Actively collaborates with site managers to implement onboarding plans for newly hired staff or for new roles; Prepares HR reports (e.g., absenteeism, overtime, headcount, leave, personnel costs, etc.) for the assigned site. Implements, monitors, and uses custom IT systems for HR process management (HRIS), following the guidelines of the European HQ and central HR; Carries out activities in compliance with occupational safety regulations (Legislative Decree 81/08) and safety procedures to protect company assets; Ensures SOX Compliance for all processes under their responsibility. Skills and Requirements: Degree in economics or labor law disciplines; At least 5 years of experience in the same role, within multinational/national companies in logistics, retail, or industrial sectors; Internal customer orientation and business sensitivity; Hands-on (operational and managerial) knowledge of all relevant HR areas; Good knowledge of personnel administration and labor costs; Excellent knowledge of labor law and contractual matters; Fluent in English; Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); Strong communication and interpersonal skills, pragmatism, problem-solving abilities, flexibility, analytical skills, internal and external customer focus.
