At Ingenico, trust and sustainability are at the heart of everything we do. /ppbPurpose of the job /b /ppWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Manager for France Benelux, based in Italy. The successful candidate will act as a crucial link between the demand from France and Belgium and the execution team at the EMEA HUB in Italy. This role requires a strong Logistics background, technical and IT skills, as well as the ability to collaborate on process improvement initiatives and ensure the adoption of new processes and procedures by the team. /pulliMake decisions regarding logistics operations for France and Benelux. /liliApprove logistics plans and strategies. /liliAllocate resources and manage budgets for logistics activities. /liliSupervise and evaluate the performance of direct reports in France. /li /ulpbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliEnsure efficient and timely delivery of goods to France and Benelux. /liliAct as the primary liaison between the demand teams in France and Belgium and the delivery team at the EMEA HUB in Italy. /liliCollaborate with the Process Improvement Manager on initiatives to enhance logistics processes and drive continuous improvement. /liliEnsure new processes and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented by the local team in France. /liliUtilize technical and IT skills to optimize logistics operations and improve overall efficiency. /li /ulpbKey Tasks /b /pulliMonitor and analyze logistics performance metrics : Regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, cost efficiency, and total SLA. Identify trends and areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance performance. /liliProvide guidance and leadership to team members : Conduct regular meetings with the team in France to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide support. Offer training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance. /liliMaintain strong relationships with stakeholders : Engage with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations. Address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of satisfaction. /liliImplement logistics software and systems : Evaluate and select appropriate logistics software and systems to streamline operations. Train team members on the use of these tools and ensure they are utilized effectively. /liliConduct regular reviews of logistics processes : Perform audits and assessments of current logistics processes and procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. /liliCollaborate on process improvement initiatives : Work closely with the Process Improvement Manager to identify opportunities for process enhancements. Participate in projects aimed at optimizing logistics workflows and reducing costs. /liliEnsure adoption of new processes : Communicate new processes and procedures to the local team in France. Provide training and support to ensure they understand and implement these changes effectively. /li /ulpbProfile /b /ppThe candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Engineering, or a related field and professional experience of 5+ years in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. The candidate must have proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within logistics or supply chain operations. /ppbTechnical skills : /b /pulliProficiency in logistics software and systems, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. /liliExperience with methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement. /liliUnderstanding of logistics operations and relevant laws ans regulations within an international context, particularly in France and Benelux. /liliAbility to manage projects related to logistics and process improvements. /liliExperience in managing budgets and optimizing costs. /liliKnowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements. /liliFluency in English; French is a plus. /li /ulpbOther meaningful skills : /b /pulliAbility to lead and manage a team effectively, providing guidance and support to achieve goals. /liliStrong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders. /liliExcellent analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions. /liliAbility to work well with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships. /liliFlexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. /liliAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail. /li /ulpAs part of our values, we embrace diversity and inclusion at Ingenico.
