THE POSITION
The candidate will join the pharmaceutical industry in a very dynamic and challenging environment as a Demand Specialist. With this role, the candidate will be reporting to the Demand Manager within Supply Chain Management of Boehringer Ingelheim in Milan.
Responsibilities:
Planning of finished product orders based on the sales forecast
Support to the Sales and Operation Process Governance
Inventory management (stock level control, DOI, avoiding stock-out and surplus)
Accountability for Material Master Data Management for finished products
Key contact person to Local and Global functions/teams
Coordinate and support customs clearance process management for goods coming from extra-EU Countries
Provide with weekly and monthly local/global reports (ie: stock coverage, out of stock tracking, Forecast Accuracy, Supply impact report, Back order, etc)
Local GRP and BIX@ coordinator, Logistic incident Management, Starter and Requester for planning SKU
Monitor goods receipt at local 3PL warehouse and inbound process
Requirements:
Strong interest in planning and logistics
Good knowledge of MS Office and possibly SAP ERP, GRP, BIX@
Preferred Degree in Engineering or Economics
Fluent English written and oral communication skills
Good analytical skills, working with large data sets
Good communication, organizational and Team working skills
Ability to thrive under pressure
Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
