Department: Finance Role reports to: Credit manager Location: Florence - Italy Purpose The Credit Collection Specialist is responsible for ensuring Medline receives payments for goods and services delivered, and for accurately recording these transactions. How can you help us? - Book transactions incurred within accounts receivable using ERP (QAD) software. - Implement direct debit processes for accounts receivable with banking software. - Maintain active receivables in close collaboration with the customer service and sales teams. - Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries with customers and other parties. - Generate invoices and account statements. - Produce monthly reports for management on receivables management. - Reconcile intercompany balances and correspond within the group. - Execute balance reconciliation and clarify accounts with external partners. - Maintain master data. - Implement monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in a timely fashion, including the associated reporting within the organisation. - Conduct cross-departmental project work for process optimisation. - Monitor and process electronic invoices. - Set up new customers, including performing credit checks. - Investigate on-hold orders in collaboration with other departments. - Conduct cash collection activities using dedicated software (CashNow). - Act as the key contact for external auditors for accounts receivable-related topics. Are you our match? - Completed higher education, preferably with a focus on finance. - 1 to 2 years of practical experience in finance. - Solid experience with MS Excel and knowledge of MS Office. - Good organiSational skills. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Fluent in English and the local language. - Knowledge of Spanish will be considered a plus.
