Purchasing Assistant - Administrative Support Role

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to provide administrative support to the Purchasing department. The ideal candidate will have prior office experience related to inventory or manufacturing, with strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Compiling material requests and creating purchase orders

• Sending POs to suppliers and tracking acknowledgements
">
• Setting up part numbers and vendor profiles in internal systems
">
• Receiving material against blanket purchase orders
">
• Handling small dollar purchases as needed
">
• Maintaining accurate records of orders, invoices, and contracts
">
• Collaborating with Accounting, Warehouse, and Receiving departments
">
• Following up with suppliers on orders, changes, or issues
">
• Updating internal databases and tracking tools
">
• Providing administrative support to buyers and responding to inquiries
