Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, the Group is among the global top-ranking engineering contractors. /ppFor this position it is required to be available to travel abroad. /ppConstruction Mechanical Superintendent is appointed for major projects only. He reports to the Construction Manager and will take responsibility for the coordination of Mechanical Construction activities through the Construction Mechanical Supervisor (MES), the Construction Machinery Supervisor (MCS), the Construction Equipment Supervisor (EQS) and Construction Piping Supervisor (PIS). /ppHe has direct responsibility on management of Mechanical Subcontractor(s). He will ensure that their performances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality and cost, and he will coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation from schedule or specifications under the guidance of Construction manager. He ensures the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities; He directly participates to the HSE activities at site as defined for his position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures /ppDuties and responsibilities /pulliManages Installation of all Mechanical, Piping, Insulation, Electrical and Instrumentation equipment. /liliEnsures that the performance of the mechanical subcontractor(s) is carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality and cost and coordinates the necessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation from schedule or specifications; /liliMonitors actual works to ensure adhering to engineering design, quality and project schedule; /liliSupervises surveying, inspection and testing of structures; /liliControls and approves the Method Statements submitted by the Subcontractors, ensuring their correct application on the field; /liliCoordinates all necessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation from schedule or specifications under the guidance of Construction manager; /liliChecks that the equipment and manpower employed by the Subcontractor are adequate and that the works performed by the Subcontractor conform to design documents, Safety regulations, and to the Quality level fixed by the same; /liliPrepare the non-conformity register for each Subcontractor and co-ordinate nonconformity resolution; /liliDetect any design errors, and where possible rectify the same or request the Site Engineer to make the necessary changes; /liliEnsures the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards; /liliDirectly participates to the HSE activities at Site for his position in the HSE plan and related procedure. /li /ulpKnowledge Qualifications /pulliUniversity Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent. /li /ulpExperience /pulliRelevant experience in construction/modernization of industrial sector/ EPC projects large /liliExperience in static equipment erection; /liliExperience in site assembly Tanks and API650; /liliHVAC installation experience is mandatory; /liliCooling Tower Erection experience is mandatory; /liliExperience in static/rotating equipment; /liliAt least 3 years of experience in the specific discipline; /liliExperience working on Contractor side. /liliSimilar role covered in last three projects of comparable size. /li /ulpSkills and Abilities /pulliFluent English; /liliExcellent IT and analytical skills; /liliExcellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills /liliAttention to details; /liliSelf-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution. /li /ul
