Hello, We are in search of an electronics technician for our Voghera Italy location. Our scientific instruments require a technician with strong knowledge of analog and digital circuitry. Ability to solder parts is necessary. Experience with circuit boards, switching power supplies, transistors, op amps and more is required. The technician will work on PCB’s to fix circuitry problems, troubleshoot instruments and provide analysis on units prior to being shipped. The position is fulltime. An electronics must be able to fix complex circuitry problems found by other techs. Our high precision/high speed analog and digital circuits are quite challenging. You must be able to use DVMs, signal generators, and oscilloscopes and understand engineering theory, units and terminology. Analog debugging skills at both the system and component level and surface mount soldering/desoldering skills are essential. You must have knowledge of op amps, A/D and D/A converters, transistor circuits, and switching power supplies. Experience should be in a production test environment - ideally with an instrumentation firm. You must communicate well with engineering, manufacturing management, and the rest of the manufacturing test staff. If this description matches your interests and skills, we should meet.
