Ph3Communications Planner - SME /h3 pLocation: Vicenza, Italy (OCONUS). /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and refine Army Component Support Plans (ACSP) and Operations Orders (OPORD) for geographic combatant commands. /li liEstablish coordination with DoD organizations and host nations. /li liPlan and support Multi‑National Security Force Assistance (SFA) and Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) events. /li liDevelop Army Component Campaign Objectives for C5I efforts. /li liUnderstand operational and tactical network, radio, satellite, COMSEC, and network security planning concepts. /li liSupport 4–8 short‑term deployments to Africa per year. /li liDetermine project objectives, organize resources, and ensure on‑time delivery of assigned projects. /li liIdentify and gather requirements into cohesive Course of Actions (CoA) documents. /li liCreate documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows, and user guides. /li liCoordinate resources required for task execution and completion. /li liServe as a technical advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommend functional changes, and identify areas for further investigation. /li liDemonstrate clear and succinct written and oral communication, and present products in a business‑like manner. /li liWork in dynamic, fast‑paced environments requiring team interaction, coordination, and adaptability to changing circumstances and operational needs. /li liMaintain knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liActive DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. /li liBachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and minimum 5 years recent specialized experience, or Associate’s degree (AA/AS) and minimum 9 years recent specialized experience, or 13 years of recent specialized experience. /li liMinimum 3+ years of experience operating and supporting DoD networks (LAN/WAN/SATCOM/etc.). /li liExperience in Army Brigade, Division, Corps, Field or Theater Army S3/G3 or S6/G6; Air Force A3 or A6 staff; Navy Expeditionary Communications Detachment; Marine Corps SPMAGTF, MEU/MEF S3/G3 or S6/G6. /li liExpertise in the Military Joint Planning Process (JPP) and integration of operational design, mission analysis, and CCA development. /li liComprehensive understanding of the Military Decision‑Making Process (MDMP). /li liDeep understanding of Maven Smart Systems (MSS) AI and other tools (GAIA, Sheets, GOTHAM etc.). /li liDoD IAT Level II/DoDD P certification (Security +CE or higher). /li liProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). /li liMust pass Italian TESA. /li /ul h3Desired /h3 ul liJoint Planner Course, CGSC, Battle Staff NCO, or other US military planning course graduate. /li liDoD Spectrum Management certified (Army Spectrum Management Course (SMC) or Intra‑service Radio Frequency Management (IRFM) Course graduate). /li liDoD Wideband/Narrowband Satellite Planning Experience (UHF/SHF/EHF). /li /ul h3Benefits Compensation /h3 pPay Range: $79,000 – $166,000. /p pComprehensive benefits include healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time off. /p h3Equal Opportunity /h3 pCACI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
