Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer – Electronic Comfort Systems to join our Engineering Team. The selected candidate will contribute to the development and integration of embedded software systems that power comfort features in aircraft passenger seating, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and enhancing the passenger experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop innovative software solutions for electronic systems integrated in aircraft passenger seats
· Create, analyze, and implement technical and functional requirements
· Customize and integrate software into customer-specific aircraft infrastructures
· Design, develop, and test embedded software systems
· Apply structured development methodologies such as the V-model and agile approaches
· Prepare technical documentation in compliance with aviation standards
· Collaborate effectively within international and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
· Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field;
· Experience in hardware-near programming using C/C++;
· Familiarity with communication bus systems such as CAN bus, RS485, or Ethernet;
· Experience in developing based on functional specifications and applying verification and validation methods;
· Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus;
· Strong technical affinity and enthusiasm for premium and innovative products;
· Experience with debugging tools and embedded development environments;
· Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style;
· Good written and spoken communication skills in Italian and/or English.
