RINA is recruiting a Sustainability and Decarbonization Project Manager for its office in Genova within the ESG and Sustainability Project Management Division.MissionAs a Sustainability Project Manager, you will work with technical experts, business developers and external partners to manage the entire project lifecycle. You will coordinate the generation of business opportunities and the elaboration of strategic proposals and the delivery of consulting projects in the sustainability field for private clients, public institutions and international donors, develop project plans, and ensure timely completion of deliverables within the defined scope, deadlines, and budget. This role provides hands‐on experience in obtaining and managing the resources required to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively. Your primary focus will be on projects related to sustainability, climate change, and decarbonization.Key Accountabilities Project Management in the Sustainability field: Coordination of the elaboration of proposals for private clients, public institutions and international donors.Development of project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.Collaborate with technical experts and business developers to define project objectives and deliverables. Sustainability Consulting Services: Collaborate with technical experts to incorporate consulting services into project plans.Ensure consulting services are accurate and aligned with project requirements.Constant follow‐up on project activities and ensure tasks are completed on time.Liaise with internal stakeholders and facilitate communication between teams and departments.Support development of project budgets, monitor expenses, control costs, and report on budget variances.Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, track risks, and report to senior management.Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, implement and monitor QA processes, and participate in project reviews and audits.Maintain project documentation (meeting minutes, progress reports, project schedules) and review contracts and proposals.Generate regular project status reports for internal and external stakeholders and provide updates on milestones, risks, and issues. EducationMaster's Degree in Engineering General or Economics.Qualifications Master's Degree in Engineering or Economics (sustainability background required).5+ years of experience in sustainability, developed in a consulting firm or in the sustainability department of a private company or public institution.Sustainability‐related knowledge: Good understanding of GHG emissions accounting and reduction, climate change, sustainability reporting, LCA, ESG assessments, sustainable finance.Ability to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including technical experts, clients, partners. Software skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Familiarity with project management tools and software (plus). Language skills: Fluent in Italian and English.Upper-intermediate level (B2 or higher) in another language (e.G., French, Spanish).
