Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Natural Rubber Lead Buyer with global responsibility for Natural Rubber sourcing, strategy and operational governance across all Prometeon regions.The role owns the end-to-end Natural Rubber value chain, combining strategic commodity leadership, market intelligence and hands-on execution, while working closely with Planning, Logistics, R&D;, Quality and Regional Procurement teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Strategy & Market IntelligenceDefine and execute the global Natural Rubber category strategyLead market intelligence on supply/demand dynamics, futures markets, rubber boards, geopolitical and climatic risksOptimize sourcing between Long Term Contracts and planned spot purchasesSupplier & Contract ManagementAct as global reference point for NR suppliers across Asia and Africa, with strategic oversight on South AmericaLead supplier scouting, qualification, performance management and sustainability audits (EUDR, ESG)Negotiate and govern long-term contracts and spot agreements, including pricing formulas and IncotermsEnsure correct implementation of Global Master Agreements across regionsOperations & Cross-Functional CoordinationOwn NR operational allocation : volumes, shipments, spot execution, cost & freight analysisCoordinate closely with Planning, Inbound Logistics and Regional ProcurementLead cross-functional reviews with R&D;, Quality and SustainabilityDrive risk mitigation, supplier diversification and alternative sourcing strategiesDigitalization & xlwpduy GovernanceSupport digitalization and SAP S/4HANA migrationDevelop dashboards, KPIs, cost driver analysis and commodity impact trackingAct as functional reference and mentor for NR buyers and logistics teams globally
Requirements:Solid knowledge of Natural Rubber markets, grades and global supply chainsProven experience in commodity sourcing, long-term contracts and spot marketsStrong negotiation, stakeholder management and analytical skillsComfortable operating in a global, complex and high-risk sourcing environmentHigh digital proficiency (ERP, dashboards, Office 365)Education: Bachelor's degree required | MBA preferred
