Its innovative and reliable solutions have been part of more than 1,600 reference projects worldwide.Job DescriptionEngineering and execution of the Distributed Control System (DCS) and other Control Systems for Energy from Waste (EfW) and Renewable Gas (RG) plantsCable engineering for Energy from Waste (EfW) and Renewable Gas (RG) plantsPreparation of the technical specifications for components and systems, technical evaluation of bids and joint selection of suppliersPreparation and review of control system hardware design documents (cabinet layout drawings, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, termination drawings)Participation in Factory Acceptance Testing of different control systemsResponsible for completeness of the CAE lists related to his products (signal exchange lists, I/O lists, etc.)Support of tendering and commissioning teamAssist Manager in a development and implementation of a department strategySupport Manager in a development and documentation of efficient work processes, lesson learned and implementation of improvement practices in future projectsSupport other Automation Engineers in resolving DCS related technical mattersCoaching and Training of entry level members and other Automation EngineersReviewing technical specifications and RfQ documentation to ensure accuracy, conformance with codes and client specificationsParticipation in project risk assessments (HAZOP, SIL assessment, Cyber Security Risk Assessment)Lead design review meetings with customers and suppliersWillingness to travel approx. 10%QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in engineering of Control Systems, preferably in power plant applicationsBachelor's degree in Electrical or Automation is mandatoryGood knowledge of various bus communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, ModbusTCP, IEC104, OPC UA)Good knowledge of field instrumentation and measuring principles for pressure, temperature, level and flowTUV Rheinland Functional Safety Engineer certificate is an advantageISA Cyber Security Engineer certificate is an advantageCommissioning and operational experience is an advantageExperience with design of instruments and cables in ATEX environment is an advantageFluency in English.
