We’re supporting a forward thinking solar developer and asset owner as they look to bring on a Project Manager in Milan to help deliver their growing portfolio of utility scale solar PV projects across Italy.
This is a hybrid role, blending remote flexibility with 2-3 days per week in a modern Milan office.
You’ll join a passionate team committed to accelerating the energy transition, without the red tape of a big corporate.
What You'll Be Doing :
* Leading the full project lifecycle for utility scale solar PV developments, from early stage planning through to commissioning and handover
* Coordinating permitting, procurement, engineering, and construction teams to keep everything moving smoothly and efficiently
* Acting as the main point of contact for contractors, local authorities, and internal stakeholders, ensuring everyone’s aligned
* Managing budgets, timelines, and risk, and keeping reporting up to date
* Overseeing EPC contractors, grid connection works, and quality assurance on site (with occasional site visits)
* Supporting tendering and contract negotiations where required
What You’ll Bring :
* 3+ years of project management experience in the solar sector or broader renewable energy space
* Strong knowledge of Italian permitting and grid connection processes
* Experience working with or managing EPC contractors and third-party consultants
* Confident using project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, or similar)
* Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
* An engineering or technical degree would be a plus, but solid PM experience in solar is what really counts
