Within the Group P&C; Retail department we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.
The Pricing Analyst position in the is focused on:
- Identifying and defining standards, best practices etc. for pricing techniques and data management and helping the group companies to implement such techniques and best practices
- On-site projects on risk modelling (technical pricing), territorial analysis, leakage and cross-subsidy analysis, retention model, conversion model, benchmarking analysis and price optimization
- Reviewing Technical models performed by different companies in the group
- Periodic performance monitoring of BU’s P&C; portfolios
- Helping BUs in defining actions/projects based on the findings of periodic monitoring and supporting them to successfully implement/carry-out these actions and projects
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Build advanced pricing models for P&C; retail insurance (motor / non motor)
- Plan, execute and maintain a pricing project
- Present and communicate modeling results and recommendations
- Design, implement and enhance metrics and monitoring tools to help provide insights in managing the business
- Contribute to the development of Modeling Best Practices
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a relevant field
- Minimum 3 years’ actuarial experience in P&C; retail pricing
- Strong analytic/quantitative skills
- Excellent data manipulation and data analysis skills
- Good knowledge of Emblem and Radar (WTW)
- Python for data manipulation, ETL workflows, and machine learning model development
- Advanced SQL: CTEs, multi-step queries, analytical functions, performance optimization
- Availability to travel
Nice to have:
- International experience
- Experience with AWS (S3, SageMaker) for data and ML workflows
- Knowledge of Earnix Software, Akur8
- Knowledge of Italian or German or Spanish or French
