About the location: A rare gem on Florida’s Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida, Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, is an exclusive collection of 156 luxurious beachfront private residences and a 222-room hotel all within a 125-acre walkable coastal village in the heart of Old Naples. About the role: The Learning & Development Manager will play a key role in the pre-opening of the Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort. Responsibilities include delivering workplace learning, service improvement programs, and initiatives for long-term business success, as well as acting as project manager to ensure all pre-opening training needs are met. What you will do: Be part of the pre-opening team and responsible for all pre-opening training needs and milestones. Act as liaison with third-party vendors and property champions on systems training and execution. Organize training schedules for all property departments. Work with department leads to ensure training materials are current and reflect local operations. Coordinate all internal and external training sessions. Support onboarding for new leaders and facilitate management training programs. Manage the pre-opening training budget and ensure timely opening. Partner with regional and global stakeholders for a successful opening. Identify and implement learning and performance improvement strategies aligned with the hotel’s strategic goals. Manage onboarding processes, including Embark and New Leader Orientation programs. Ensure new employees successfully complete their 90-day probationary period. Coordinate and facilitate core programs like Service Foundations, Leadership Introduction, GROW, FS Leader, and compliance requirements. Support the development of designated trainers and Managers in Training, ensuring standards are maintained. Manage Standards Training programs and ensure manuals are up-to-date. Partner with management to identify performance gaps and develop improvement plans. Lead property-wide change initiatives and large-scale projects related to growth and learning. Manage the learning budget and conduct annual Learning Needs Analysis. Organize programs facilitated by internal and external trainers and market learning initiatives. Maintain training calendars and communicate learning activities effectively. Support individual development plans and promote a continuous learning culture. Occasional travel for training, events, and conferences. Flexible working hours during pre-opening based on operational needs. What you will bring: Four-year college/university degree or equivalent experience. Two to three years managerial experience in luxury hospitality, preferably with Four Seasons. Experience in luxury hotel operations. Expertise in Excel, including formulas for tracking and analysis. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills and self-management abilities. Creative, flexible thinking and effective communication skills in English. Experience in adult education, managing diverse cultures, and HR systems. Understanding of budgeting, financial management, and needs assessment methodologies.
