Quality Manager - Oil & Gas Location: Bagnolo Cremasco, Cremonia, Italy, 26010 Company: Chart Industries _Ensuring Chart’s Success _ - IMB - Chart Industries specializes in the design and manufacture of shell and tube heat exchangers for the most critical processes/services in the refining, petrochemical, fertilizer and offshore industries fabricated in a range of material types ranging from standard carbon steel to the more exotic type of high alloy and titanium._ - To enhance our staff, we’re looking for a:_ QUALITY MANAGER _What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be _ - Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001, national regulations (for example, China) and sector-specific standards. - Establish quality control procedures and strategies to monitor and improve product quality and performance. - Conduct regular quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations. - Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives for non-conformities and customer complaints, promoting the effectiveness and timeliness of the corrective action system. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to identify and drive quality improvement initiatives. - Train and mentor team members on quality standards, testing methods, and best practices for quality assurance. - Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including quality manuals, standard operating procedures, and inspection reports. - Manage relationships with suppliers and customers regarding quality issues, ensuring effective communication and resolution of concerns. - Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with best practices. _Requirements and preferred qualifications_ - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the metalworking sectors. - Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, methodologies, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, API). - Proven experience in quality audits, inspection, and testing methods. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Proficient in quality management software and data analysis tools. - Fluent knowledge of English. - Brings a strong work ethic and a tenacious drive to excel. _Chart is an equal opportunity employer_ - IMB - Chart Industries is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
