Here, solid medicines such as tablets and dry powders for inhalers, solutions and suspensions for inhalations and sterile suspension vials for endotracheal administration are produced. /li libIn 2024, a new Biotech Centre of Excellence /b has launched in Parma. The new facility is dedicated to developing and producing monoclonal antibodies, enzymes, and other proteins. /li libBlois-La Chaussée Saint Victor plant /b (France), a center of excellence specializing in the production of Dry Powder Inhalers and Metered Dose Inhalers (MDIs). The site manages direct distribution to customers in the French market and exports to other markets, effectively meeting both local and international needs. /li libSantana de Parnaiba /b (Brazil), specialized in the production of pressurized solutions and suspensions for inhalation therapy (pMDIs). Additionally, it has an area dedicated to nasal sprays for the European market. Santana produces pressurised solutions and suspensions for inhalation therapy (MDI). /li libIn 2025, a new investment in Nerviano /b (Italy) has been announced with the construction of a new facility which will be primarily dedicated to manufacturing carbon minimal inhalers (reinforcing the company’s commitment to both patients’ health and sustainable healthcare solutions), dry powder inhalers and sterile biological products. /li /ul h3Who we are looking for /h3 h3This is what you will do /h3 pThe person will be responsible for the definition, optimization and control of production processes, constantly seeking greater efficiency and effectiveness of industrial plants to ensure the continuous improvement and business continuity of each department involved. /p h3You will be responsible for /h3 ul liEvaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement and how to improve /li liDeveloping and implementing systems and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs /li liDesigning, running, testing and upgrading systems and processes /li liCreating process simulations and conducting risk assessments and related remediation, if any /li liPerforming process analysis and making recommendations for improvement /li liProviding technical support and training to staff and junior engineersEnsuring that all processes and procedures comply with safety and environmental regulations /li liWorking closely with other specialists, including engineers and scientists, to develop processes /li liDocumenting all created processes and updating and maintaining these documents as changes occur /li liCollect data and monitor the progress of processes /li liAdapt the plants to current regulations, in terms of risk prevention and safety, reduction of environmental impact, use of energy sources /li liManage the construction, installation and operation of the installationsDevelop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output /li liProvide process documentation and operating instructions /li liProvide process and equipment design, process optimization, and troubleshooting /li liManage cost and time constraints /li /ul h3You will need to have /h3 ul liPrevious experience in roles within the pharmaceutical industry /li liAt least 5 years of working experience in pharmaceutical industry (manufacturing environment) /li liBachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering/Science preferred in process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology or a similar discipline. /li liGood command of English language /li liProficiency with Microsoft Office package, CAD and SAP /li liLeadership and social influence /li liPlanning and organizational skills /li liInnovative focused approach to identify and implement ways of working and tools to achieve project objectives. /li liStructured rigorous approach ensuring effective coordination to ensure safe, reliable, effective sustainable implementation. /li /ul h3We would prefer for you to have /h3 ul liGood understanding of change management and process risk analysis as well as maintenance. /li liKnowledge of reporting principles and techniques, industrial accounting and management control /li liKnowledge of project development phases from selection to close-out and their management /li liKnowledge of project practices /li /ul h3Location /h3 pThe person has to be based in Parma. /p h3What we offer /h3 pNo matter where your path starts at Chiesi, it leads to inspiring possibilities.
