Who we are
Rod Society is the platform to book epic fishing experiences all over the world.
We started in June 2024 and, fully bootstrapped, reached 150k GMV in 12 months.
We closed a 200k round and are now preparing to become the global reference for recreational fishing.
We currently operate in 5 countries: Italy, France, Spain, New Zealand, and Argentina, and we collaborate with more than 40 professional guides. Our goal is to reach 30 countries and 500 guides within the next 2 years.
You'll be a good fit if
You’ve worked in startups and want to launch one yourself someday.
You’re passionate about automations, and Lovable felt like a blessing because you could finally build without having to code from scratch.
You enjoy international environments and see an early-stage startup as a chance to learn everything and help build a global success story.
What you'll do
This is a product-oriented role for someone comfortable with n8n, basic coding, and vibe coding, who will help us scale Rod Society to €1M in revenue. Hard skills are important, but the product environment is evolving so quickly that an adaptive mindset, a willingness to learn, and a hackish approach matter the most.
This position can turn you into an all-around product builder, if you’re not one yet.
Very concretely, in the next two months we will work on:
* Data Infrastructure (Supabase): consolidating our SQL database as a single source of truth. Migrating data from Sheets and creating a scalable schema.
* Checkout Architecture (Stripe + Lovable): setting up checkout flows in Lovable with metadata passed to Stripe to ensure automatic payment tracking.
* The Automation “Brain” (n8n): creating workflows connecting Stripe, Supabase, and Brevo (or Looms if you like it better). Automating booking creation, payment confirmations, and error alerts.
* CRM & Marketing Automation (Brevo): real-time contact sync and automated sales pipelines (transactional emails, travel PDFs, and follow-ups without manual intervention).
* Operational Backoffice (Lovable): Building an Admin Dashboard to manage bookings and confirm trips with one click.
Looking ahead, this role is about jumping on any opportunity to speed up the sales cycle, improve our client service, and optimize the work of our guides.
What we offer
We are still in a pre-seed stage, the salary can’t compete with a corporate or a scale-up, but there is equity. Being the first tech / product hire, on that side, we’ll be generous.
