The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing expert analysis and strategic guidance to clients mainly in power distribution system. As a Power Systems Engineer, you will develop network models, assess and recommend appropriate asset sizing (transformer, cables, circuit breakers, etc.), perform simulation studies (power flow, reactive compensation, short‑circuit, stability, relay setting, arc‑flash), and deliver actionable insights to optimize clients’ operations. /p h3Job Responsibilities /h3 pAs a valuable member of our Power Systems team, you will support related projects by leveraging strong technical skills to deliver top‑notch consulting services. Your responsibilities will include: /pul liConducting in‑depth analyses of power networks, including supply and demand dynamics and regulatory changes. /li liGathering modeling inputs, performing power system simulations, preparing deliverables, and writing reports. /li liCollaborating with clients to address operational risks, meet regulatory norms, and offer strategic advice and actionable recommendations. /li liUtilizing advanced analytics and modeling tools to interpret large datasets, simulate various operating scenarios, and validate models. /li /ul h3Essential Qualifications /h3 ul liM.E./M.Tech/M.S./Post Graduation in Power Systems, Power Management, Energy Management, or a related field. /li liB.E./B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering or a pertinent field. /li liStrong background in power systems dynamics, operations, protection, particularly distribution systems. /li liFamiliarity with power system tools such as SKM, PSS/E, DIgSILENT, ETAP, or similar simulation tools. /li liAppropriate authorization/certification for performing required studies (especially arc‑flash studies) and for visiting facilities for inspection and data collection. /li liExcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey intricate concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders. /li liRobust problem‑solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and overcoming challenges. /li liProficiency in collaborative teamwork, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently. /li /ul h3Desirable Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with data analysis and modeling tools such as Excel, Python, and R. /li liAcquaintance with regulatory frameworks, grid codes, and reliability standards influencing the power system. /li liDemonstrated success in applying innovative approaches to tackle intricate challenges within the power system. /li liResearch publications in reputed conferences/journals. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
