Commodity Team Leader Role
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commodity Team Leader to join our team. This role will lead and manage a team of Supply Management professionals, identifying opportunities for supplier and product value stream improvement.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of Supply Management professionals to identify opportunities for supplier and product value stream improvement.
* Develop and implement supplier and product value stream improvement initiatives with assigned suppliers or commodities.
* Collaborate with planning, Supplier Development, and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) processes to drive business results.
* Manage professional Supply Management teams in regions, supporting new product development sourcing, make vs buy activities, and supplier readiness.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Materials Management, Finance, Engineering, or Operations Management required.
* Minimum 6 years in a professional procurement role with exposure to various manufacturing processes and commodities.
* Demonstrated ability to do complex cost analysis and apply lean manufacturing principles.
* Skilled at working with individuals at various organizational levels within and outside the organization.
