Overview
Our customer is a rapidly growing HR tech startup based in Italy that has developed a SaaS platform for AI-powered Skill Assessment. The solution helps organizations identify top talent and evaluate skills, cultural alignment, and leadership potential across the workforce. The platform enables large-scale AI assessments for external recruitment and internal development. The company recently secured €5.5 million in funding from leading VC firms and currently partners with major enterprises across banking, retail, and luxury sectors.
Responsibilities
* Join the Science & AI team and contribute to cutting-edge AI initiatives led by the head of science.
* Design, fine-tune, deploy, and enhance an advanced GenAI-driven assessment system in an agile environment.
Experiences
* A background in computational-enabled or data science disciplines is required
* A background in a subdiscipline of behavioral science will be regarded as an advantage
* 5+ years of research or practical experience in machine or deep learning, with a focus on natural language processing and large language modeling
* 3+ years of experience in training and deploying GenAI in a software system, whether on-cloud or in-premise
* Additional experience in retrieval augmented generation (RAG) is preferred
* The ability to design and deploy real-time GenAI-based conversational AI agents is favored
* Experience in ML-Op pipeline and versioning, from data to model deployment
* Experience in building API web service
Skills
* Fluency in programming languages, including Python and Typescript
* Knowledge in database management such as MySQL
* Experience with online platforms such as AWS
* Knowledge in designing a Chatbot-enabled web interface with customizable prompts, vector databases, and code agent functionality
* Fluency in English (C1) (team communication language)
* Organized, agreeable, open-minded, and team-oriented soft-skills
Location: Italy - HQ is based in Milan, flexibility to work remotely from Italy.
