Position
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Hardware Mechanical Engineer
to join our team in
Val della Torre (TO)
. The selected candidate will play a key role providing the Research and Development and Product Development departments with technical expertise and skills for the design,
production, and maintenance of hardware components, in accordance with agreed timelines and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design
of mechanical automation systems, component drawings and component sizing;
* Collaborates
with the Technical Documentation and Manuals group;
* Identifies solutions
that meet
design requirements
and comply with the primary needs of product robustness on the one hand and the best requirements of assembly, maintainability, cost-effectiveness, ergonomics, usability, and aesthetics on the other.
* Plays an active, proactive, and innovative role by researching, proposing, and developing the best
technological solutions
to be adopted and standardized in the company's product range.
* Ensures
the accuracy, completeness, and updating of technical data in the documents produced.
* Collaborates
with the Prototyping group during the
prototype assembly phase
and is responsible for collecting and implementing the improvements proposed during prototype assembly.
* Actively supports
Service and Production
, ensuring, in the HW field, the investigation of causes and the definition of both preventive and corrective solutions to the problem in question, whether it arises in the field or during assembly.
* Supports
Procurement
in the search, evaluation, selection, and engagement of suitable suppliers and in the management of obsolescence and hard-to-find materials.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with the following
skills
:
* Over
10 years of experience
in the role
* Knowledge of
3D Cad
* Knowledge of
PDM/PLM
* Good use of
Office Suite
* Problem solving
* Use of
FEM tools
and in general
simulation tools
for structural analysis
* Knowledge of robotic Systems (Cartesian, Scara, Anthropomorphic)
Nice to Have:
* Knowledge of Solidworks
* Knowledge of sim tool for thermal analysis
* Knowledge of mechanical production methods (CAM, injection mold, 3D printing, etc…)
