PbJob DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription : /b /ppuDescription : /u Manages project from handoff from Sales through completion. Communicates directly with contractors, designers, subcontractors, TRAG department managers and clients concerning material selections, sample approvals, monitors project costs, staffing, and scheduling. Prepares project status reports for the leadership team and works to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. Responsible for accurate field dimensions and is the conduit for relaying information between all parties. Responsible for holding department heads accountable for schedule. Responsible for selection of vendors for buy-out. Responsible for but not limited to reviewing constructability of various components and consults with department heads for solutions. Daily review and updating of the project schedule. Review typical financial reports / tracking metrics. Initiate material and finish sample request approvals. /ppuSupervisor : /u VP of Project Management / Engineering /ppbEssential Functions : /b /pulliJob Profitability /liliProject scheduling (utilizing the latest company software platform) /liliCross departmental communication /liliCompany software platforms to include but not limited to Sage, Datamaxx, Auto CAD and outlook. /liliFile maintenance as required /liliCost control (Delta tracker, etc...) /liliChange Order Management /li /ulpbDuties and Requirements : /b /pliProactively manages assigned projects to ensure that contracted work is completed accurately, on time, within budget and to the client’s satisfaction. /liliMaintains project schedules weekly, after the production meeting, but prior to the start of the following week. /liliWorks with Engineering Department on shop drawing review, Step 2 meetings, and final drawing release review. /liliMaintains client relationships, performs design reviews, and tracks changes. /liliPrepares and tracks Submittals in Sage 300 to obtain approvals for all items requiring approval /liliMonitors Sage 300 Drawing Log to assure engineers are properly updating. /liliSubmits accurate and detailed Sample Request Forms to the VP of Finishing Operations with proper descriptions and scope /liliReturns Sample Approvals with client signature to VP of Finishing Operations. /liliWorks with the Estimating to create and prepare Sage 300 Change Requests submits to Project Executive for review. Once approved the Project Executive, Change Requests are submitted to client approval. Updates status of Change Requests as required. /liliWorks with Procurement / Inventory and Accounting to assure project expenses are job costed according to Company protocol. /liliWorks with Project Executive and Accounting to prepare and submit project invoices according to Company protocol. /liliPrepares punch lists for each project and works with department managers to complete. /liliWorks with VP of Field Operations to estimate and schedule deliveries and installation needs in advance. /liliUpdates Executive team and department managers on project status in weekly production meeting for all responsible projects. /liliMonitors jobsite safety, OSHA compliance, insurance documentation, current certificates, code compliance, building / site rules, permitting, application preparation, submissions and inspections as required. /liliWorks with Sales, Estimating and Procurement on quote reviews, pre-shop reviews, and release meetings. /liliCultivates subcontractor relationships and schedules accordingly. Ensures all subcontractors are given proper job detail and information.
