Job Title: Procurement Manager

What will you be doing?
As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting of goods and services for large-scale renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on solar PV and energy storage systems. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and external suppliers, you will ensure that all procurement activities are aligned with project requirements, timelines, and budget targets.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Leading the procurement process for equipment, materials, and services related to PV and BESS projects.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.
* Preparing and managing tender processes, including RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
* Ensuring compliance with company policies, technical specifications, and local regulations.
* Collaborating with engineering and construction teams to align procurement with technical and project needs.
* Monitoring supplier performance and managing risks to ensure on-time and high-quality project execution.
* Supporting the project team in budget tracking and cost optimization strategies.
Are you the ideal candidate?
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
* 3–5 years of procurement experience in the renewable energy sector (solar PV, wind, or BESS preferred).
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Knowledge of international and local suppliers within the renewable energy industry.
* Familiarity with procurement tools, ERP systems, and MS Office.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Fluency in English and Italian (written and verbal).
* A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
