Job Description SummaryVernova PurposeGE Vernova is accelerating the path to more reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy, while helping our customers power economies and deliver the electricity that is vital to health, safety, security, and improved quality of life. What impact you'll makeAs a Hydro Services Manager of the Hydro Services Team, you will be an active contributor to the delivery of high-quality services for hydropower plants and the successful execution of service transactional works. In this role, you will drive activities including proposal development and execution of services transactional works, covering maintenance and repairs, condition assessment, technical assistance, spare parts, and training for Hydro Turbines, Generators, Control Systems and Governors, auxiliaries, and balance of plant. You will operate at the intersection of technical expertise, site operations including EHS, technical project management, and commercial awareness.Deliver timely and accurate responses to technical inquiries, including technico-commercial offers.Provide hands‐on technical support for general services and specific upgrades.Lead project execution, ensuring EHS compliance, quality, cost, schedule, and drive variation orders in collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and site teams. Manage project financials, including sales milestones, cash flow, risks, and opportunities.Maintain accurate data in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.Minimum 3 years of experience in hydro‐related technical roles and customer‐facing commercial activities, including proposals.Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings/systems.Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.Fluent in English and Italian.Proven project management experience with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong teamwork skills.Strong analytical skills, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
