Responsabilità
The candidate will be involved in the design and development of safety‑critical avionics applications using Model‑Based Design (MBD) methodologies, with a strong emphasis on graphical systems, pilot interaction, and human factors. The role covers the full design and development subsystem lifecycle, including system modeling, HMI design, graphical implementation, integration, verification, and certification, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and usability requirements. The focus of the development is on the Application SW and its integration on the platform (HW and Low Level SW).
Key Responsibilities
Develop embedded software for avionics display systems (e.g., PFD, MFD, Touchscreens Controls, Helmet Mounted Displays) applying Model‑Based Design methodologies
Implement graphics of touchscreen display with a proper HMI, with particular attention to Flight Test Operations pilot workload
Manage SW lifecycle in accordance with applicable standards (DO‑178C, DO‑331, ARP 4754A)
Integrate Application SW on target systems
Manage supplier relationships, formal reviews, and SW configuration and control

Requirements
Degree in an engineering technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunication, Automation, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering)
Proven experience with MATLAB Simulink and SW development (C/C++)
Knowledge of real‑time safety‑critical embedded SW development aspects
Interest in Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) aspects
