Overview We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the “MANUTENZIONE – AREA ELETTROSTRUMENTALE” team at the Ponti sul Mincio plant in Mantova, Italy. The role focuses on planning, executing and monitoring routine and non‑routine maintenance activities, and proposing improvements to maintain optimal plant performance. Responsibilities
Collaborate in the preparation of the routine and non‑routine maintenance program and plant shutdown forecasts for electrical equipment. Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic and automation systems, and define repair actions. Operate maintenance contracts (planning, assignment, execution supervision, safety delivery, quality control and consuntivation of external contractors). Verify work execution assigned to external contractors and comply with plant safety provisions. Prepare and manage the technical plant report, the consumption of works and analyze P&I data and technical/statistical data related to works. Verify safety plans for maintenance contracts. Elaborate tenders, technical specifications and purchases for maintenance services and spare parts required for the correct operation of the plant. Act as the preposto for works assigned by the DL, coordinating with the plant operation department for the safety delivery of areas, equipment and machinery.
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related fields (bachelor’s or higher). 3–5 years of experience in the industrial or energy production sector. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, automation and industrial instrumentation principles; ability to read and interpret single‑line electrical diagrams and P&ID process diagrams. Familiarity with low and medium voltage electrical installation techniques. Basic programming skills in DCS/PLC environments. Basic IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge preferred. Availability to be on standby; flexibility, teamwork, strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and results orientation.
