Your Challenge: As a Field Service Technician - Medium Voltage Commissioning your mission will be to In this role, you will be responsible for executing commissioning activities related to medium-voltage systems — including switchgear, protection relays, and BTUs across multiple project sites. You will coordinate the on-site execution in alignment with the project management team, ensuring compliance with technical, time, and quality requirements. When needed, you will also oversee subcontractors, acting as the main technical reference on site. Your main activities will be: - Execute commissioning and maintenance activities on secondary medium-voltage switchgear (AIS/GIS) - Support, when required, primary distribution systems (experience in this area is a strong plus) - Perform functional electrical testing, including protection relays and interlock verifications - Understand and operate basic functions of electrical protection systems; (knowledge of Siemens SIPROTEC and Reyrolle relays is considered a valuable plus) - Coordinate all site activities, interfacing with general contractors, consultants, and end customers - Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and project execution timelines - Report technical issues, propose solutions, and contribute to continuous project improvement To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have: - Experience in commissioning and maintaining secondary medium-voltage switchgear - Familiarity with primary distribution systems (preferred but not mandatory) - Working knowledge of protection devices and electrical testing fundamentals.
