The selected candidate will be responsible for defining, implementing, and verifying functional safety activities throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards for electrical and electronic systems in road vehicles.Key ResponsibilitiesApply the functional safety lifecycle according to ISO 26262.Perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) and determine ASIL classifications.Define and manage Safety Goals and Functional Safety Requirements.Support the development of technical system architectures compliant with safety requirements.Prepare and maintain safety documentation (Safety Plan, Safety Case, etc.).Collaborate with system, hardware, and software teams to ensure correct implementation of safety requirements.Support internal and external audits and interface with customers and certification bodies.Conduct and support safety verification and validation activities (FMEA, FMEDA, Fault Injection, FTA).QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related fields).Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the automotive sector.Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 (preferably Parts 3, 4, 5, and 6).Experience in the development of automotive E/E systems.Familiarity with safety analysis methodologies (FMEA, FTA, DFA).Knowledge of related standards such as Automotive SPICE.Good command of English (written and spoken).Why Fortil?Although we are currently experiencing significant growth, the high standards of our projects and hiring remain as demanding as ever.
