We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting department.
The individual will be responsible for managing general accounting activities, ensuring accurate recording of company transactions, and supporting accounting closures and financial statement preparation.
This role will work closely with the Finance team and internal and external stakeholders, operating in a dynamic and structured environment.
Responsibilities
General Accounting
Manage general accounting activities
Record accounting entries (journal entries, accruals, deferrals, provisions)
Handle adjustment and correction entries
Verify proper allocation of costs and revenues
Accounting Closures
Support and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closures
Prepare account reconciliations
Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
Support preparation of statutory financial statements
Accounts Receivable and Payable (Supervision)
Support and supervise accounts receivable and payable entries
Verify proper invoice accounting
Manage entries related to fixed assets and depreciation
Reporting and Audit
Assist in preparing accounting reports
Support internal and external audit activities
Interface with auditors and external consultants
Prepare documentation required for audits
Tax Compliance
Support periodic tax compliance activities
Assist in preparing tax returns
Monitor tax deadlines
ERP and Process Improvement
Use and manage the company ERP system
Support improvements in administrative and accounting processes
Assist in ERP implementation or enhancement projects
Requirements
Degree in Economics, Accounting, or related fields
4–6 years of accounting experience
Experience in general accounting and financial statement closures
Experience in structured environments xlwpduy or audit firms
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
Good knowledge of statutory financial statements
Basic understanding of tax regulations
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalents)
Good command of English for managing accounting documentation and interacting with international stakeholders
