Job Summary
Amazon Prime Video is seeking a proactive and highly organised Sr. Content Development Executive for the Italian Originals team. The candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to help build a pipeline of projects aligned with audience and content strategy, and shape the future of Italian digital entertainment in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
Responsibilities
* Read incoming pitches, organise external story narration and internal pitch discussions, and communicate interest or declines.
* Schedule narrations, book meeting rooms, and coordinate entry/OTP with the GREF team.
* Ensure content standards are met for new pitch submissions.
* See through all creative aspects of a title from development to launch, coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Serve as the first point of contact for cold calls and pitch inquiries from industry contacts.
* Organise archival content in Box folders and develop a system for production teams to manage ongoing data.
* Maintain a comprehensive database of creators, production companies, and insights from show learnings.
* Track title search requests and follow up on their progress.
* Generate reports on pitch pipeline health, genre trends, and slate performance for the Creative Team and other departments such as PR.
* Oversee the smooth execution of administrative processes, ensuring effective multitasking across multiple projects and deadlines.
* Work with IT Head of Scripted and SEU Head of Originals to ensure the vision and scope of the pipeline is consistent, delivered in time, and with premium quality.
Team & Work Environment
The applicable collective agreement for this role is the Telecommunication Sector. The position is classified at quadro, depending on the candidate’s skills, competences and experience.
Compensation & Benefits
The minimum gross annual base salary for this position is EUR 69,000 gross annually (full‑time). Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level depending on the candidate’s skills, competencies, and experience. The package may include a sign‑on payment and eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated by Amazon.com Inc. in the USA. In addition to statutory benefits and those applicable to the relevant CBA, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms.
Qualifications
* Extensive creative executive experience.
* Experience overseeing all creative aspects of development, production and post‑production.
* Creative experience in a proven production company or network with previous development or current programming across various genres of scripted television and film.
* Fluency in English and Italian.
* Bachelor’s degree in film, business, media or production.
* AI certification.
* BA/legal basic knowledge.
* Knowledge of IT soft money models.
