Senior Manager, Sales Leader, Healthcare and Life Science Job ID: 3195701 | AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) - F93 As a Senior Manager, Sales Leader within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will help drive the adoption and growth of emerging cloud‑based technologies, transforming healthcare service delivery and improving patient, provider, and researcher experience. Your responsibilities include developing and managing a growing, complex customer base for healthcare accounts, deepening business and technical relationships, and launching new customer services. You will determine effective go‑to‑market strategies and collaborate with AWS Solution Architects, Partners, Legal, Marketing, Product, Capture/Contracts, and Executive leadership. You will establish deep business and technical relationships through knowledge of the customer’s goals and environment, interacting daily with customers and partners (SI’s and ISV’s) that support these customers. You should possess sales and technical background, team leadership experience, and the ability to engage at the CXO level. You must think strategically about healthcare priorities and challenges and convey compelling technical solutions. Key job responsibilities
Drive revenue growth and market share for your customer and AWS. Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships, including senior executives and industry partners. Serve as the AWS account team leader, helping to advance our customers’ strategy in healthcare. Articulate and implement strategic territory and account plans aligned to AWS’s strategic direction. Maintain an accurate and robust sales pipeline and forecast new business opportunities. Understand the technical considerations, certifications, and customer procurement processes. Identify specific prospects/partners/channels to approach while communicating a relevant value proposition for your customer. Work closely with customers to ensure that they understand relevant cloud use cases, are successful using AWS services, and can build the technical resources required to fully embrace cloud services. Understand the business and technical requirements of your customers and work closely with their IT development team(s) to guide the direction of our product offerings for developers. Collaborate with AWS’s Legal & Contracting teams to manage complex contract negotiations. Accelerate customer adoption and ensure customer satisfaction. Expect moderate travel.
Basic Qualifications
Experience in technology‑related sales, business development or equivalent. Experience in sales management. Experience in management of large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree. Bachelor’s degree.
