The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, MS SQL Server, JavaScript, and RESTful Web APIs, along with hands‐on experience in implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ideally with AVEVA Software (System Platform, MES, Work Tasks). In this role you will be fully customer facing and a member of the AVEVA MES Delivery project team responsible for the solution fit to customer requirements to deliver business value. Key Responsibilities Participate in requirements gathering, system design, and code reviewsEnsure best practices in coding, security, and system performanceCreate and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database schemasImplement responsive and interactive front‐end components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSSDesign, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework/Core, and Web APIsIntegrate with external systems (e.g., SAP, PLCs, SCADA) as part of MES architectureAuthor system acceptance test criteria based on formal requirements and ensure customer requirements are met 100% in a timely fashion.Conduct unit testing and system testing as per the test plan.Site commissioning of the MES SolutionsTroubleshoot and resolve application issues in manufacturing environmentsMaintain detailed technical documentationTravel up to 25% to customer sites for requirements gathering workshops, design workshops, training workshops, implementation, etc.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and shop floor integrationSolid understanding of SCADA solutionsFamiliarity with OPC, PLC communication, and industrial data protocols is a plusStrong problem‐solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperience in implementing and site commissioning of MES solutions.5+ years of hands‐on experience in C#, .NET, Web API development & MESProficient in MS SQL Server, including T‐SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuningStrong experience in JavaScript and front‐end development
