PRIMARY FUNCTION / ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be involved in an industrial thesis project focused on the optimization of a CNC tube‐shaping workstation. Under the supervision of the company tutor, the student will learn how to:
* Analyze the current material supply conditions for the workstation.
* Study and redesign the service area dedicated to material handling and workstation support.
* Evaluate and improve the layout of the workstation to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
* Map and optimize the internal logistics and material flow to and from the CNC tube‐shaping machine.
* Identify opportunities for operational improvement through data analysis and lean manufacturing principles.
* Propose and validate new solutions for the organization of tools, materials, and space near the workstation.
* Support the definition of new standards and procedures to ensure sustainable improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Management, Energy, Chemical, Materials, Environmental Engineering, or other STEM disciplines (Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, etc.).
* Strong interest in production processes, industrial optimization, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
* Good command of English, written and spoken.
* Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
* Analytical mindset, teamwork capability, and strong communication skills.
THESIS PROJECT DURATION
3 to 6 months, with the possibility to adjust timing according to academic needs.
