Ph3Overview /h3pSite Manager (IT) - HVDC Converter Stations (m/f/d). The Site Manager oversees all construction and commissioning services and activities within Hitachi Energy HVDC converter stations in Italy and abroad. The role requires managing all project phases to ensure on-time delivery within budget on site in Italy for the duration of assignments. The position is site-based with presence required on construction sites. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliAct as the main interface to the Customer on all contractual matters and maintain a good relationship with local authorities and organizations. /liliManage manpower requirements on site and drive site activities to achieve contractual milestones and targets. /liliManage on-site change management, including variation orders to subcontractors. /liliWarrant that all tests are performed and accepted by the customer according to contractual conditions. /liliFoster a culture of proper understanding and adherence by all site personnel to Health, Environment and Safety requirements of the business, Customer, and local authorities. /liliEnsure all activities are done with the expected quality and that quality records are created and properly archived. /liliEnsure permits, licenses, and requirements are in place for compliant site execution. /liliEnsure structured, up-to-date, and reliable documentation handling on site and towards Headquarters; guarantee activities are performed within defined contractual schedules and milestones and that project costs remain within budget. /liliAssigned as Site Manager or Site Representative in medium to large EPC converter station projects, complex Consortium projects, Equipment Only projects, or as Deputy Site Manager in large EPC converter station projects. /li /ulh3Your Background /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager on construction sites, in the energy sector or similar industrial projects, especially in medium to large projects. /liliFluent in English (written and spoken). /liliFluent in Italian (written and spoken). /liliRelevant and certified knowledge and experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), particularly courses required for the role of Capo Cantiere in Italy. /liliStructured and organized with strong people management, collaboration, team work, resilience, and excellent customer interface and communication skills. /liliWillingness to travel throughout Italy, Europe, and worldwide. /li /ulh3More About Us /h3pWe offer you the opportunity to work with fantastic people and develop yourself on projects that present great technical challenges and have a real impact.
