Job Purpose
MSC Cruises is the world’s third-largest cruise brand and a leader in Europe, South America, the Gulf region, and Southern Africa, with significant market share and capacity. Headquartered in Geneva, MSC Cruises operates a modern fleet of 22 ships, with three new vessels launching in 2025, 2026, and 2027.
We seek a motivated Business Analyst to join our Digital Technology department, supporting strategic initiatives within our B2C channel and digital platform transformation.
The role is based in Naples or Milan, with up to 2 days remote work per week.
Key Responsibilities
As a B2C Business Analyst, you will :
* Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders across B2C channels.
* Translate needs into functional specs and user stories for development teams.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and technical teams.
* Participate in PI Planning and Agile ceremonies under SAFe.
* Support digital channel and marketing ecosystem enhancements.
* Validate requirements through API testing and visualize business processes.
* Work with stakeholders to define technical and functional requirements.
* Manage product backlog using Jira and document in Confluence.
* Facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with tools like Miro.
* Create diagrams and documentation for clarity and traceability.
* Perform basic API testing (e.g., Postman).
* Monitor product KPIs and understand performance tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.
* Contribute to Agile process improvements within SAFe.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related fields.
2. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in digital environments.
3. Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe frameworks.
4. Technical skills including API interaction, web technologies, and basic programming.
5. Familiarity with system architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
6. Proficiency with visualization and documentation tools (Miro, Lucidchart, Visio).
7. Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
8. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with stakeholder management experience.
9. Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
10. Basic experience with CMS and Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
11. Willingness to travel up to 10%.
