Responsibilities:
* Design and implement security controls for networks, systems, and applications.
* Monitor security activity, analyse events, and support incident and vulnerability management.
* Conduct penetration testing, risk assessments, and security reviews.
* Automate routine security processes using scripting languages.
* Support compliance with security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST.
* Work with IT and DevOps teams to embed security across projects and operational workflows.
Skills / Must Have:
* Knowledge of network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN).
* Understanding of application security and vulnerability analysis (OWASP).
* Experience with cryptography and certificate management.
* Background in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
* Exposure to incident response and digital forensics.
* Ability to script using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
* Familiarity with penetration testing tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap).
* Experience with SIEM platforms and log analysis.
* Understanding of risk assessment processes.
