We’re seeking a motivated System Engineer (Linux) to join our team in Turin. You’ll play a key role in supporting pre-production systems, managing firewall rules, ensuring compliance with security requirements, and maintaining technical documentation. This is a freelance opportunity with full onsite collaboration, ideal for professionals who enjoy hands-on system engineering and cross-functional teamwork.


📌 Main Responsibilities

* System Support (PreProd):
* Upgrade Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems.
* Test and configure network connectivity and routing (static routes).
* Set up monitoring solutions on pre-production machines.
* Work with tools such as nmtui, netcat, route, nmcli, traceroute, ifconfig, netstat, nslookup.
* Firewall Rule Management:
* Prepare Excel forms for new firewall rules.
* Perform flow analysis and reference internal LLDs.
* Security Monitoring:
* Verify implementation status of security requirements against CWE.
* Coordinate with other structures and GA.
* Technical Documentation:
* Regularly update DTS documentation between HDM and CDP.


🛠️ Technical Skills Required

* Strong knowledge of Linux (Red Hat) and networking tools.
* Familiarity with routing, firewall, and monitoring concepts.
* Basic understanding of CWE and security requirements.
* Ability to draft and update technical documentation.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


📍 Work Setup

* Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week (Mon–Fri).
* Mode: Onsite, face-to-face (no remote option).
* Freelance: Yes, freelancers welcome.
