Provision, configure, and maintain heterogeneous compute clusters (CPU/GPU) across multiple physical locations\nImplement dynamic compute and storage provisioning based on workload demands\nDesign storage solutions at both hardware and software level (NAS, distributed filesystems, storage tiering)\nImplement and manage container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker) for development and production workloads\nDesign and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible\nBuild and optimize job scheduling and resource allocation systems (Slurm, Kubernetes)\nSet up monitoring, alerting, and observability infrastructure (Prometheus, Grafana, IPMI)\nProfile and optimize system-level performance: GPU utilization, memory bandwidth, I/O throughput, network latency\nManage networking, VPNs, and secure access across distributed systems\nHandle reliability concerns: hardware failure detection, job checkpointing, disaster recovery\nQualifications
Strong Linux system administration knowledge\nExperience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)\nKnowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)\nExperience with HPC clusters and job scheduling (Slurm)\nFamiliarity with monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana)\nUnderstanding of networking principles and implementation\nExperience with hardware infrastructure management (IPMI, BMC, server maintenance)\nKnowledge of storage systems design (NFS, Ceph, distributed filesystems)\nNice to Have
