About the Position
We are looking for a Cash Planning Manager to join the Treasury team, reporting directly to the EMEA Treasurer. This position is based at our office in Corbetta (MI).
The Cash Planning Manager will be responsible for the development and analysis of cash forecasts and cash strategies across group entities. The role requires a strategic mindset combined with an ability to execute agreed plans. It will be a key advisor on cash management solutions, serving as the main point of contact for Regional Treasurers, coordinating internal cash management activities and collaborating with external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze and consolidate daily cash forecasts at the Group level, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to support effective liquidity management.
* Perform detailed analysis of 13‑week rolling cash flow forecasts, gaining an in‑depth understanding of key drivers and variance analysis, and providing executive reporting.
* Manage daily supplier payments across all regions, ensuring timely transactions by verifying local currency availability and performing FX operations as needed.
* Support Group initiatives such as capital injections, dividend distributions, and intercompany loans by designing and executing funding structures that meet liquidity needs efficiently, while coordinating with business units, tax, legal, and accounting teams.
* Advise business units on complex cash management challenges and formulate strategic solutions to effectively manage associated risks.
* Develop and implement automated system solutions to enhance and streamline cash management activities, ensuring efficiency and reliability in daily operations.
* Display initiative and willingness to challenge existing approaches to work practices and existing ways of doing things.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally, especially with Consolidation, FP&A, OTC and Procurement teams, to enhance information sharing and support effective decision‑making.
* Develop cash management team, providing appropriate leadership and training of team members.
* Consistently demonstrate personal and professional integrity and maintain compliance standards in all actions, reflecting the company’s core values.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (minimum).
* Preferred if the candidate holds an MBA or another advanced degree.
* 7+ years of corporate treasury experience in a global organization.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
* Strong experience managing 13‑week cash flow forecasting.
* Proficiency in treasury management systems (Kyriba strongly preferred) and bank software products.
Other Skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills (high proficiency in MS PowerPoint).
* Extensive knowledge in corporate treasury practices, banking, cash management, risk management, and treasury operations.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
