Mechanical engineer

Ph3Mechanical Engineer /h3 pEli Lilly Italia is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join one of the production departments at the Sesto Fiorentino (FI) site: Packaging, Formulation, Filling, or Visual Inspection. /p pThe selected candidate will be part of a cross‑functional team and will play a key role in the technical management of production lines, ensuring operational efficiency, supporting activity planning, and driving continuous improvement. The goal is to ensure compliance with production, maintenance, and HSE standards, with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and quality. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure deep knowledge of the production process and all its components (including technical documentation). /li liDefine and manage the correct setup of production equipment to ensure alignment with the production plan. /li liPrepare operating procedures and technical notes to share best practices across teams. /li liManage process anomalies and lead root cause analysis and first‑level problem‑solving. /li liCollaborate with the Maintenance Manager to execute routine and extraordinary maintenance (IC/IL, predictive, corrective). /li liCarry out specific interventions on production equipment and support predictive maintenance activities. /li liAnalyze process data and manage key performance indicators (OEE, alarms, rejects, downtime, AQMS data, etc.). /li liPropose and lead continuous improvement initiatives and CapEx projects. /li liTrain and support operational and maintenance staff through technical knowledge and training activities. /li liManage spare parts inventory, including reordering levels, codification, and interchangeability. /li liPlan and coordinate activities during Shutdown periods. /li liEvaluate HSE risks related to maintenance interventions in collaboration with the Technical Team. /li liInteract with national and international suppliers for components and technical services. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent). /li li1‑2 years of experience in production, engineering, or maintenance within structured companies. /li liFluent in English (minimum level B2). /li liKnowledge of maintenance fundamentals and KPIs, as well as basic metrology concepts. /li /ul pLilly does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
