PpTXT E-Tech S.r.l., part of the TXT Group, is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Aerospace Defence division. /p pThe resources will work on embedded avionics software for a sixth-generation fighter aircraft, focusing on highly critical low-level components: scheduler, equipment software, driver layer, kernel-level services, and runtime infrastructure. /p pThe ideal profiles have experience in real-time embedded development, knowledge of RTOS, task scheduling management, integration with avionics hardware, and skills in defining build and integration pipelines aimed at robustness, determinism, and software lifecycle quality. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelopment of low-level software components in a real-time safety-critical environment (RTOS), focusing on scheduler, resource management, and equipment software; /li liImplementation and maintenance of build and continuous integration pipelines to ensure robustness, determinism, and software lifecycle quality; /li liFunctional and architectural modeling of basic system services; /li liDefinition and updating of software specifications, including low-level interfaces between modules and avionics subsystems; /li liCollaboration with hardware and software teams to optimize development pipelines and configuration management (versioning, branching, build system); /li liContribution to improving processes and development methodologies for real-time and low-level components. /li /ul h3Technical skills required /h3 ul liExcellent knowledge of the C programming language; /li liPrinciples of software design (encapsulation, modularity, portability); /li liKnowledge of the Linux operating system; /li liUnderstanding of architecture and the process of generating binary artifacts (Makefile, executables, libraries); /li liSoftware versioning methodologies (Git). /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liKnowledge of MISRA standards; /li liFundamentals of Real-Time Critical Systems; /li liFundamentals of communication protocols UDP and RTPS / DDS. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics.
