PWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Center Mechanical Lead to join our Design Construction department. This transversal role focuses on leading all mechanical aspects of data center design and construction projects. You will provide technical expertise, develop conceptual designs, oversee commissioning processes, represent the company in project meetings, and ensure the smooth implementation of our mechanical infrastructure. /ppbRESPONSIBILITIES Conceptual Design : /b /ppLead the design and development of conceptual and detailed mechanical systems for new and existing data centers. /pulliAnalyze cooling and air handling requirements to optimize efficiency, reliability, and energy consumption. /liliSelect and specify mechanical equipment based on industry best practices, project requirements, and sustainability considerations. /liliEnsure mechanical system design seamlessly integrates with other systems (electrical, IT, etc.) through close collaboration with relevant teams. /li /ulpbCommissioning and Startup : /b /ppOversee the commissioning process for new and upgraded mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. /pulliDevelop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans in accordance with industry standards and best practices. /liliIdentify and resolve mechanical commissioning issues efficiently to maintain project progress. /liliCollaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth construction and installation of mechanical components. /li /ulpbTechnical Expertise and Representation : /b /ppStay at the forefront of the latest trends and technologies in data center mechanical design and operation. /pulliServe as the company’s internal expert on all mechanical aspects of data centers. /liliProvide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders across various departments. /liliRepresent the company in external project meetings, discussions, and negotiations with vendors and consultants. /liliCommunicate clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring transparency and understanding. /liliManage and maintain technical documentation related to data center mechanical systems. /li /ulpIdentify opportunities for improvement in data center mechanical systems and processes. /pulliLead the implementation of new technologies and best practices to enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. /liliAnalyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization. /li /ulpRESPONSIBILITES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONS /ppbRespect and enforce certification policies in terms of : /b /pulliHS : Respect and enforce health and safety rules. /liliEnvironment : Respect and enforce environmental policies. /liliInformation security : Respect and enforce information security policies /liliEnergy : Respect and enforce the policy of reducing energy consumption. /li /ulpREQUIREMENTS Education and experience /ppBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. /pulliMinimum of 7+ years of experience in data center design and construction or equivalent experience in critical infrastructure. /liliProven track record of success in leading and executing complex mechanical engineering projects. /li /ulpbTechnical skills (preferred written in italic) /b /pulliExperience on Mechanical Systems and discipline (HVAC, CFDs, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, CRAC / CRAH Units, Air Handling Units, etc.). /liliStrong understanding of data center thermal management, power distribution, and fire suppression systems. /liliExperience with commissioning and startup of data center mechanical systems. /liliProfessional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent. /liliLEED AP certification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. /liliExperience with data center infrastructure management software (DCIM) focusing on electrical systems. /liliExperience with project management methodologies and best practices. /liliExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliProactive : Takes initiative and ownership of tasks without needing constant direction. /liliAccountable : Admits mistakes, learns from them, and delivers on commitments. /liliAgile : Learns quickly and applies new knowledge in practical situations. /liliCollaborative : Works effectively with diverse teams and adapts communication styles accordingly. /liliResilient : Maintains a positive attitude and composure under pressure. /liliIndependent : Works autonomously and takes calculated risks. /liliData-driven : Makes decisions based on evidence and analysis. /li /ulpJ-18808-Ljbffr /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
