The Software Engineer, reporting to the Team Leader, will be responsible for designing and implementing software to manage our devices, develop User Interfaces, and oversee data flow. Responsibilities Analyze software and system requirements. Participate in brainstorming sessions to define solutions for specific problems. Define and implement algorithms for processing images and point clouds. Define, implement, and train neural networks for classification, detection, and segmentation. Collaborate with internal and external customers at a technical level to define interfaces and detailed requirements. Develop software solutions according to specifications and quality standards. Support testing activities. Adhere to company policies and practices for software development. Estimate implementation efforts for assigned tasks. Work with colleagues to establish common solutions. Proactively propose improvements to software products and procedures. Coordinate and collaborate with other departments within the company. Technical Skills, Qualifications, and Professional Experience Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. More than 2 years of experience in similar roles. Experience with multithreading. Experience in image and/or 3D data processing. Knowledge of computer vision algorithms. Experience with deep learning techniques for image classification, detection, or segmentation is a strong plus. Knowledge of TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch is a strong plus. Knowledge of OpenCV or Halcon is a strong plus. Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Italian (at least B2 level). Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
