Summary

Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga was renowned as a couturier of uncompromising standards, called "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and "The Couturier of the Couturiers" by Gabrielle Chanel. The house is known for its ultra-modern shapes.

The brand’s identity is rooted in conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, with successful leather goods, footwear, and accessories, especially handbags. Recently, a focus on developing Balenciaga's menswear collections has been highly successful.

Since October 2015, Demna Gvasalia has been the artistic director for both men’s and women’s collections.

Part of the Kering group since 2001, Balenciaga remains one of the most influential names in fashion.

Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Advisor to join our team at Milano Rinascente, reporting to the Store Manager.

Your opportunity

Enhance the in-store customer experience with flawless service that dazzles. Seek out and leverage opportunities to increase sales and growth.

How you will contribute

* Develop and maintain good product knowledge and provide excellent customer service
* Understand current products, trends, and collections; keep customers informed
* Replenish stock and maintain high standards of merchandise presentation
* Handle customer complaints, seek assistance when necessary, and resolve issues satisfactorily
* Stay updated on customer requirements and operating procedures
* Achieve daily sales targets using appropriate sales techniques
* Understand and follow all procedures and policies
* Maintain personal appearance and presentation in line with company standards
* Adhere to security and health & safety regulations
* Open and close the store as needed, following security protocols
* Perform additional duties within the scope of the Sales Consultant role as required

Who you are

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Experience in face-to-face customer service
* Ability to adapt to change and work under pressure
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A team player with a shared goal
* Fluent in Italian and English; a third language is advantageous
